Description
Re-Railing Ramps – EMB320
The ZMS EMB320 Re-Railing Ramp Set is designed to assist with returning derailed railway vehicles and wheelsets safely onto the track. The system consists of left-hand and right-hand ramps with matching wedges, allowing both wheels to climb back onto the rails simultaneously during a controlled recovery operation.
Manufactured from high-strength 35CrMo4 chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, the ramps provide the rigidity and load capacity required for demanding railway and mining environments.

Operating guidance
The left-hand and right-hand ramps must be aligned so that both wheels climb onto the rails at the same time. The heel of each ramp should rest securely against the edge of the sleeper to prevent tilting or sliding.
The wedges must be correctly positioned using a hammer. During the re-railing procedure, traction should be applied at a very slow and constant speed to maintain controlled wheel movement.
